UV PAINTS (SOLVENT BASED OR 100% SOLID)
“UV coatings” are special paints formulated with polymeric binders with “unsaturated chemical bonds” that polymerize via “radical” chemical reaction launched by specific photo-activators triggered by ultraviolet light radiation at specific wavelengths.
These polymers have a good diffusion since they guarantee super short drying times, in some cases few seconds from the applications (they are therefore ideal where high productivity is required) plus they are characterized by low solvent emissions (there can be 100% solid) and by high filling properties (high coverage, with no shrinking).
The range of solvent-based UV coatings, which also includes 100% solid content products) of JSP VERNICI incorporates:
- UV-FOND: clear and pigmented UV basecoats, also dual cure kind
- UV-FIN: clear and pigmented UV finishes, also dual cure kind
