The term “polyurethane paints” (PU paints) identifies a wide range of coating products suitable for numerous purposes with the curing process carried out by the chemical poly-addition reaction between 2 reagents (the part A, the polyol polymer containing the hydroxyl group, and part B containing the isocyanate group, improperly defined “catalyst”) and in which the solvents also perform some role.
They are characterized by outstanding chemical-physical resistances which allow the films, after their complete drying, extremely high hardness combined with excellent aesthetic results.
